The rain clouds have gathered in my part of Singapore too.
Maybe I'd better head out to some mall in town to hide before it
pours! 
Your comment about your office freezing again reminds me of this
article in the Straits Times I read when I was last back in
Feb-Mar, where locals AND expatriates complained about how cold the
office buildings are here. If you ask me though, I'd rather
be cold than hot.
Can't wait to get back to Winter in Melbourne! 
singaporean here have a habit of complaining... Too hot also
complain, too cold also complain... But I still prefer cold over
hot... Coz if cold, at least can wear jacket, but if hot, u cant
possibly ask me to work naked rite~
Oh, one of the part of the office air-con is faulty and they
receive full blast of the aircon, so people in tat
area are decked in winter wear and towels covering the cubicle
like some tent...
